F11 Photography
Bernd Korte y Frieder Zimmermann son dos excelentes fotógrafos alemanes que mantienen una galería de arte fotográfico virtual llamada F11. En ella tienen sus proyectos fotográficos, exposiciones virtuales de diferentes fotógrafos y también editan un boletín de noticias difundido por toda Europa y USA.

Acabo de recibir el último boletín en el que anuncian mi próxima exposición en su galería virtual. Esta será publicada a finales de diciembre o a principios de enero. El contenido de la exposición serán las fotos del proyecto "Evanescencias".
Me ha llamado la atención su último proyecto firmado por Bernd Korte, Anke Meinzen-Spark y Frieder Zimmermann titulado "Room with a view" en el que todas las fotos han tenido que cumplir dos condiciones: una vista de un espacio de dentro hacia fuera y que tanto la ventana como la puerta que abre el espacio sea visible en el encuadre.
Es recomendable visitar la exposición virtual. Hay fotografías "de quitarse el sombrero". Mirala en http://www.blende-elf.net/ y pulsa en donde pone "Expo 1". Te sorprenderán las fotos.
Se nota que "la movida" de arte en Alemania, cuyo motor es la noche berlinesa, está viva y es puntera en ideas. Desde estas líneas felicito a Bernd Korte y a Frieder Zimmermann por su excelente trabajo y dedicación.

Dear friends of our website F11 photography!
We hereby open our new exhibition titled "Room with a view".
Bernd Korte, Anke Meinzen-Spark and Frieder Zimmermann have picked up this photographic theme. Only two conditions should be strictly fulfilled:
1. the photo should show an inside > outside view
2. either a window or a door or even both must be visible
You may judge yourself if these criteria have been realized.
Anyway, here are three rather different aspects of the theme we can present you today.
On our own behalf:
We have frequently been asked to show one or the other of former exhibitions.
To be true, we contradicted this idea for some time arguing that the limited period of presentation should reveal the fleeting glance of electronic photography.
In our opinion the printed document either in folders, wall-framed or in photobooks can hardly be replaced. Though we didn't really change our mind we have now decided to let you look into our archieves. So click that button if you wish.

PS: We are alreday looking forward to present the Spanish photographer Román Montesinos with his remarkable photo ideas at the very end of this year. You may remember that he has once been guest-photographer in F11. His exhibition "Strawberry-shooting" can still be found in our archives.
